Review of Harry Potter 6

CAUTION: SPOILERS!!!!!

Well, I've just come out of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Even though they (the producers) left out some bits and pieces, it was all right. The only memories shown however, are those of Dumbledore's introduction to Riddle, and the Horcrux meeting between Riddle and Slughorn, which, in the long run, might not have been in the best long term interests of the movie version of the series.

I do have to say that, overall, comedy was plentiful, as was the hilarious, but embarrassing, hormones that come with being a teenager. The actors' portrayals of their characters was realistic, their reactions believable when one looks at their performance in the first movie.

As some rumors suggested, the funeral for Dumbledore and the small Battle of Hogwarts were both omitted from the film. The first can be attributed to the fact that we do, in fact, see Dumbledore again at the end of the seventh book. A funeral signifies the end of a character's role in the book, so it would make sense to not include this in the movie. The second can be rationalized in that there is the huge Battle of Hogwarts that takes place at the finale of the series.

My rating: 3 wands out of 4.

Note to Parents: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is rated PG, so make sure if your kid goes to see it that there is an adult there, especially when Dumbledore is killed near the end. Such an event could scar a young child.

Things that Professor Snape is no longer allowed to do at Hogwarts

1. Not allowed to sing “Black Powder and Alcohol” to the students. Especially not allowed to substitute ingredients that will result in napalm and methamphetamine instead.

2. Crucifying toads. Bad idea.

3. Not allowed to collect blood and/or hair samples from students or staff for potion-making. This includes Mrs. Norris.

4. Not allowed to train Hagrid’s pets into attacking Gryffindors.

5. May not call any members of the Ministry of Magic untrustworthy, corrupt slime. Not even Fudge. Ok, especially not Fudge.

6. Even if I still have the receipt for the last bribe I gave him from Lucius.

7. Must never tease Trelawney about what she puts in her incense.

8. May not sell any Weasley into slavery.

13. May not conduct psychological experiments on staff members or students.

14. I should not confess to crimes that took place before I was born.

15. While under Veritaserum.

16. 'To conquer the earth with an army of flying monkeys" is a bad long-term goal to give Lord Voldemort. Or Dumbledore, for that matter.

17. Rodents are not entitled to burial with full military honors, even if they are "casualties of war". Not even Pettigrew.

18. Not allowed to add 'In accordance with the prophesy' to the end of answers I give to a question Dumbledore asks me. Only Trelawney gets to do that.

19. Not allowed to purchase anyone's soul on school time.

20. Must wash my hair even if it tampers with my 'Sampson like powers'.

21. Must not taunt the Hufflepuffs.

22. Not allowed to appeal to mankind's baser instincts in Death-Eater recruiting posters. God only knows why.

23. Not allowed to put up Death-Eater recruiting posters on school property, not even in the Slytherin Common Room.

24. May not make posters depicting the leadership failings of my chain(s) of command. Neither Dumbledore nor Voldemort have any sense of humor that way.

25. It is better to beg forgiveness than to ask permission, no longer applies to Professor Snape.

26. There are no evil clowns living under my bed.

28. Nerve gas is not funny, not even at a Dark Revel.

36. May not give Professor Sprout any plant named “Audrey”.

37. May not feed Longbottom to “Audrey”.

38. May not bring Moaning Myrtle as my date to the Yule Ball.

39. May not put banned substances on the Gryffindor Quidditch brooms just before a match (see attached list).

40. May not encourage Fred or George Weasley to boobytrap the Sorting Hat.

41. May not bring Longbottom to any Death-Eater function in the hopes he will ‘fix’ Voldemort’s latest potion.

42. Even if the resulting explosion will leave a smoking crater a quarter-mile in diameter, thus resolving at least two of my major problems.

43. May not send a charmed rubber rat across the floor of the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom in hopes that Lupin will chase it.

44. Or send Sirius Black a flea collar in Extra Large. Though he could use it. “Dances with wolves, sleeps with fleas”.

45. When asked to give a few words at a ceremony or staff meeting, ‘Romper Bomper Stomper Boo' is probably not appropriate. Besides, that’s Dumbledore’s job.

5) I am not allowed to give Remus Lupin a flea collar

6) I am not allowed to bring a Magic 8 Ball to Divination.

7) I am not allowed to say that Seamus Finnegan is "after me lucky charms."

8) I am not allowed to start a betting pool on this year’s Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher.
It's taste-less, tacky, and not a good money-making strategy.

So You Want To Join My C2?

But before you do, let’s get some basics down, shall we? Or the FAQs, as they’re called.

What is a C2?

A C2 is a community or collection of stories based off its title. The C2 is normally restricted to the boundaries of the title. My title is Time Travel, AU, past & future fics, and crossovers. More on this title will be explained later.

Is there some kind of price for joining?

No, it’s entirely free.

What do I do?

Your job is keeping an eye out for stories that match the C2 and then add them to it.

Do I have to add stories?

Nope, you can join and sit on your butt and never add a story, though I would prefer you not.

Can I add stories even if I'm not a member of the C2?

No. In order to add or delete stories from the C2, you must be a member.

What do I get out of it?

Whenever a story is added, an alert is automatically sent to your e-mail account and all the accounts of the other members, giving the basic details of the story. The manager (that’s me) will decide whether or not it can stay in the C2. If it doesn’t, that’s because it contradicts the rules only, not because I’m discriminating based on the category.

I don't want to join, but I want to know when new stories are added.

Then you need to press the subscribe link. Make sure you are logged into the site when you do this. You get the benefits of story alerts, but you yourself cannot edit the C2.

What are the rules?

The rules are simple and follow as such.

1. No M or R rated stories. I do this simply because they’re too rough and I don’t like reading stories where there are explicit scenes, overuse of bad language, stuff like that. I aim to be a youth-friendly C2.

2. No slash. This is another word for homosexual stories, where men are paired with men, and women with women. Usually m-preg (male pregnancies) fall here too, but I have found a few that might be remotely possible and did like those. But no slash at all. Period. I barely tolerate Captain Jack Harkness. Total waste, especially Ianto. But yes, I do realize that Captain Jack Harkness flirting with anything that moves is inevitable in every story. (Sigh) I do, however, allow some stories, within reason, where Jack is duel-gendered, because technically speaking, duel-gendered people cannot be involved in a slash pairing. Also, no incest, especially stuff with two Doctors or the Weasley twins paired together. Sickening.

3. No anime/manga. This includes Yu-Gi-Oh, and Pokemon. I don’t keep up with the stuff but as it is pretty much M-rated, it is thus banned from the C2.

And that’s pretty much it. But let me make one thing perfectly clear: SHOULD YOU INTENTIONALLY ADD A STORY THAT DISOBEYS THE RULES, YOU WILL BE OUT FASTER THAN YOU CAN SAY RAXICORICOFALLIPITORIOUS! GOT IT?!

What are the favorite additions right now?

Doctor Who, Harry Potter, NCIS, and Moonlight are high up there right now.

Do you favor certain pairings?

So long as they’re possible, yeah. I don’t think the Doctor could fancy Martha, what with his Rose fixation and Donna wouldn’t care to. Jack/Donna pairings are on the rise, though and are accepted. Also, Draco Malfoy wouldn’t suddenly dump a pureblood girlfriend to go out with Hermione Granger. Translation: If you’re going to do a non-canon pairing, make me believe the pairing is possible, not just the author wanting those two thrown together because they think it’s “cute.”

What’s with the title?

Ah, we reach the main issue. The title is composed of four parts.

1. Time Travel – where one characters goes backward or forward in time, intentionally or not, sometimes changing the past, sometimes affecting the future. Doctor Who’s a little touchy on this, since the series is about time travel. Usually stories I pick for the C2 from Doctor Who fall under the other subcategories.

2. AU – short for “alternate universe”. This means that something changed in “canon” to lead the series down a different path. This can be for the better or, sometimes, for the worst. Voldemort winning is a popular topic, or Harry going Dark/Evil. Mirror Universes, and different dimensions are also included.

3. Past & Future fics – simply put, these are stories that take place before and after the canon events are set. For example, in Harry Potter, Marauder era stories and those about Harry and Ginny's, and Ron and Hermione's children would fall in this subcategory (or mix and match, again no incest or slash).

4. Crossovers – when one series crosses paths with another. For example, Doctor Who meets Harry Potter. You’ve probably seen quite a bit of that since David Tennant played Barty Crouch Jr. in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and is the incumbent Doctor for Doctor Who. Also, crossovers include paradoxes between different Doctors, which means a sort of temporal displacement in itself between Doctors. Even the TV shows did these. I reference The Three Doctors, The Five Doctors, and Time Crash for this purpose.

Are you limited to one area?

No, stories from everything, everywhere, and everywhen can be added to this C2. It’s a general C2 for this very reason.

Okay, I agree with everything. How do I join?

Send me a PM asking if you can. Please verify you have read this blog. That way, I don’t have to go through the monotony of explaining everything again. Also, if you are interested, I have more info below with details about my other C2. It’s not as big or bold, more like a side project. It’s not a requirement to join both. If you only want to join one or the other, that’s quite all right.
After you ask, I send you an e-mail through Fanfiction.Net that will give you the option to accept or decline. Click the one you want. Your acceptance or denial will be recorded.

It's called the Lupin-Tonks Files, and deals with Remus Lupin, Nymphadora Tonks and relatives of these two, including Teddy Lupin, Andromeda Tonks and their respective pairings.

Brandon Routh has signed on for two more Superman movies. One of those movies may be a crossover with Christian Bale’s Batman.

The date for the opening of the Harry Potter theme park has been narrowed down to sometime between December 15th, 2009 and June 30, 2010.

Yes, I'm moving more stuff around and out in my profile. So, here's the season 3 summeries for Danny Phantom thus far. Enjoy!

Eye for an Eye – Danny and Vlad’s game of revenge against each other begins with childish pranks, and, unfortunately for Danny, ends when Vlad decides to run for mayor of Amity Park! By overshadowing voters, Vlad wins in a landslide. The new mayor is eager to use his new power to make life as miserable as possible for Danny and his friends. He shuts down the Nasty Burger, outlaws technology, creates new school uniforms, and passes so many new laws in the name of “protecting the children” that Danny finds it impossible to go ghost. (Note: Remember the sign in Urban Jungle about Vlad becoming mayor? Here's where it happens!)

Infinite Realms – After getting lost in the ghost zone, Danny and his friends find in a frozen zone the Infimap, a map that lets the holder to travel everywhere in the ghost zone. After Vlad Masters steals the map, Danny, Sam and Tucker must chase him through different times and places, from Salem to ancient Rome, to get this treasure before he manages to conquer Earth. (Note: This is where we finally meet Frostbite!)

Girl's Night Out – Spectra, Kitty and Ember join forces and use their powers to make all men vanish from Earth. Jack and Danny go fishing on the only place immune from it and must deal with Skulker. Sam, Jazz and Maddie must stop the villainesses while Danny tries to beat Skulker without revealing his identity to his father, who will once again show a rare demonstration of competence fighting ghosts. (Note: Here we finally see Danny finally getting a clue. Hint, hint.)

Torrent of Terror – Amity Park is in the midst of a drought, and Mayor Vlad, eager to score points, releases Vortex, the weather ghost, to make it rain. But when Vlad double crosses Vortex, the ghost conjures a storm that threatens to drown the town! As Danny Phantom flies to the rescue, he’s zapped by a lightning bolt. When he comes to, he discovers that his emotions are now directly tied to the weather! (Note: The Observants return. That's just great.)

Forever Phantom – Amorpho, a ghost with morphing abilities, impersonates people and gets them into trouble with it. He then impersonates Danny and both of them must learn the price of fame when a Fenton device interrupts some of their powers, preventing Danny from returning to his human self and locking the evil shapeshifter in a shape that calls too much attention: Mr. Lancer's. (Note: Ouch. This is the last one before Urban Jungle.)

Living Large – After the Guys in White buy Fenton Works for over 100,000 million dollars, Danny and the Fenton family move to a mansion, next to Vlad´s House! However, Sam and Tuck suspect the GIW may be planning something: they discover that they are planning to destroy the whole Ghost Zone! But what the Guys in White don´t know is that they blow the Ghost Zone, they will destroy our world too! (Note: I reckon the GiW really wanted the house. I'm still not sure on those mathematics though. Hm.)

Boxed-Up Fury – As one of the weakest ghost in the Ghost Zone, the Box Ghost attacks with every "deadly box" he has in the human world, but is easily defeated by Danny. He then makes a plan: he will use "Pandora´s Box", the most powerful box ever created, and will use the evil and deadly powers inside it to attack Amity Park. Now Danny must find the only one able to save the day: Pandora herself! (Note: The Box Ghost finally gets some attention in this episode. Beware!)

She accidentally gets adopted by one Danny Fenton. Will she ever reach the Charmed Ones? (This story has been relegated to the plot bunny section; I started it, and ran out of steam in the first chapter. If someone adopts it, I will send all notes available, including the first chapter and a bit of a later chapter.)

Alteration – Star Trek: Enterprise – Summery: A simple away mission on a seemingly innocent new world has unusual consequences for members of the crew. Captain Archer discovers he is now invulnerable to harm from solid matter or energy beams. Trip can turn invisible and intangible at will. Hoshi has disturbing premonitions, Travis can teleport himself, and Malcolm can fire beams of energy from his hands. The two MACOs also along with them develop powers, one stretching her body, the other conjuring shields. A post “Terra Prime” story. Disregards “These are the Voyages…”

Behind These Violet/Purple Eyes – Danny Phantom – Summery: AU. Betrayed and abused by her former husband, Sam Manson moves from Springfield, Illinois to Amity Park. There, she meets Danny Fenton, a shy young man who instantly falls in love with her. Can Sam overcome her fear of men and be with Danny or is she forever doomed to a life of solitude? (Notes: I put Amity Park in Illinois, but that can be changed. Also Danny and Sam are twenty-one in this fic. Title from Behind These Hazel Eyes by Kelly Clarkson.)

Blue Moon - Harry Potter - Summary: After she graduates from Hogwarts, Cho Chang leaves Britain for Forks, Washington, where she finds EdwardCullen - who looks just like her dead love Cedric Diggory - in love with another girl. Twilight/Harry Potter crossover. Both from movie-verses, with Robert Pattinson.

Danny Fenton and the Prisoner of Azkaban – Danny Phantom OR Harry Potter – Summery: Major AU. After the defeat of Voldemort, Dumbledore sent Harry Potter into the future to protect him. He convinced a family in North America to adopt Harry. Now, twelve years later (in the original timeline), Sirius Black has escaped from Azkaban and is determined to find Harry. But Harry isn't anywhere to be found, as he is now known as Danny Fenton of Amity Park, Illinois. And Sirius Black will do anything in his power to find Harry. Even if he ends up going to the future. (Notes: This one is a little off, but keep in mind, the person who adopts this one can bend the summery to his or her own ideas.)

Death Waits For No CSI – CSI: Crime Scene Investigation – Summery: The CSI team pursues the trail of a man who claims to be Death himself. He’s already killed two people with a scythe, leaving notes at each crime scene that it was their time. Now the team must catch this psychopath, before he ends up killing one of them.

Distorted Reflections – Harry Potter – Summery: Harry Potter and Ron Weasley, allies of Draco Malfoy, are all Slytherins. On top of that, all three accepted the Dark Lord's offer and are Death Eaters. Power-hungry, vicious, and determined to gain power, the Silver Trio overthrow the Dark Lord himself. Years later, though, a survivor from the Revolution appears. A survivor named...Hermione Granger. Welcome to the Mirror Universe. (AN: No, not the same as Mirror, Mirror. This one is on the premise that Harry accepted Draco's offer on the train, with the promise of Ron coming as well. As such, Harry and Ron turned evil. Hermione, however, became a Ravenclaw and led the rebels against Harry's forces and lost. This one truly belongs to the Mirror Universe category.)

Dragons and Ghosts, Oh My! – AD:JL/ Danny Phantom – Summery: Ghostly apparitions in New York prompt the Fentons to take a trip to the Big Apple. While there, Danny finds himself battling a powerful, evil ghost dragon intent on possessing a gem that grants your greatest desires. In the dragon’s case, to become an even more powerful ghost than Pariah Dark. The American Dragon and Danny Phantom must team up; for without the other, neither can succeed in the battle to protect the magical world, the human world, and the Ghost Zone!

Ghosts at Wild Adventures – Danny Phantom – Summery: While on their field trip to Wild Adventures, the trio encounter a ghost hauting the wooden rollarcoaster. Now they must stop him before he recreates the accident that led to his death. Add Sam freeing a bunch of the wildlife and things are going to go totally wild! (Note: Wild Adventures is located in Valdosta, GA)

Growing up Danny – Danny Phantom – Summery: When Danny is told he needs to be a certain age to go on a trip, he wishes he was 5 years older. Unfortunately, Desiree hears his wish, and when Danny wakes up the next morning, he’s older, but everything else is the same. Now a 19-year-old Danny must find Desiree, unwish his wish, and become himself again.

History Repeats Itself – Harry Potter – Summery: History repeats itself when Harry and Ginny are killed protecting their two-year old daughter, Jamie. The child disappears without a trace. Nine years later, at a Muggle home, a letter is delivered, announcing the acceptance of the Girl-Who-Lived at Hogwarts. Will Jamie decide to follow in her parents' footsteps or will she denounce the entire magical world?

In Plain Sight – Star Wars – Summery: When Mace Windu was thrown out of the window in SW III, he didn't fall to his death. Instead, he landed in the backseat of a woman's car. She was running late, and was thus in a hurry. Still, she finds the time to tend to Mace and discovers that he is a Jedi and hides him from the new Empire. 20(?) years later, when the Empire is destroyed, Mace and his friend leave Coruscant to find the son of Skywalker. (Notes: MacexOC pairing. Mace also has droid hands similar to Luke's.)

Marauders of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl – Harry Potter – Summery: The Pirates cast, except with the Marauders and Co. Features Sirius Black in place of Jack Sparrow, James Potter in place of Will Turner and of course, Lily Evans instead of Elizabeth Swann. Also features Mr. Remus Lupin instead of Mr. Gibbs and Severus Snape instead of Commodore Norrington. Captain Barbossa is unknown, possibly Peter Pettigrew or even an OC. (A/N: If somebody doesn't grab this one, I might!)

Murder in Aisle 1 – CSI: Crime Scene Investigation – Summery: The team investigates the seemingly random shooting of a teenager in a local Walmart. But as they get closer to the murderer, it may turn deadly as the murderer takes Sara hostage.

Oh, Prophets – Star Trek: DS9 – Summery: Post "The Begotten." It's the morning after Odo has become a Changeling again. But he's plagued by fits of sneezing, for some odd reason, which causes him to ripple at unexpected times. He visits Dr. Bashir and finds out that a piece of the baby changeling that died actually survived and has now bonded with Odo's morphogenic matrix, causing all the classic symptoms of a Bajoran pregnancy. Desperate, Odo seeks out advice from Kira on what to do for the next month or two. Eventual Kido. (Notes: I don't know if this would be classified as a malepreg. story, considering the baby actually did this itself. As for the sneezing, Odo was raised Bajoran, so it would be possible for his body to react in a Bajoran manner. Eh, I'm weird, what can I say?)

P is for Phantom – Danny Phantom/W.I.T.C.H. – Summery: Mr. Lancer decides to take the freshmen class to NYC. Danny thought he left his problems in Amity Park, and could actually enjoy this trip. Boy was he wrong. Now Plasmius is after the Heart and the Guardians need Danny's help in defeating him.

Past Pretense – Star Trek: Enterprise OR Harry Potter – Summery: What if Captain Archer was wrong? What if the genetically enhanced Suliban weren't receiving help from the future? What if it was someone from the past? Someone magical? Someone named...Lord Voldemort? (Notes: Takes place between year 6 and year 7. Crossover of each other obviously.)

Phantom’s Fury – Danny Phantom – Summery: When Sam and Tucker are seemingly killed, Danny vows to avenge their “murders”. But he turns evil in his anger and now Sam and Tucker must escape their prison before Danny becomes his Ultimate Enemy!

Truly Psychic – Psych – Summery: Shawn gets the shock of his life when he begins having dreams that turn out to be true. And to make it worse, he accidentally slips that he wasn't a psychic before. Oh, dear, what now?

The Future is Here – Star Trek: Enterprise – Summery: The Enterprise is returning to Earth for a refitted pair of nacelles when a ship literally drops in front of them. Curious, Archer, T'Pol, Trip, and Malcom board the foreign ship and find one Captain Braddox unconscious. But before they can stop it, the ship is launched into the future, dragging Enterprise along with it. Two hundred years later, two unknown ships appear in front of the Enterprise-E, their power drained. How will the Starfleet crew from 2153 deal with life in the 24th century? And how will they get back?

The Next Great Adventure – Harry Potter/Star Trek: Other – Summery: The Second War is over. Voldemort has been defeated. Unfortunately, it came with a price: Harry Potter's death. Or did it? When Harry's body was destroyed, his soul was sent through space and time. He wakes up to find that he is now a Starfleet commander aboard the U.S.S. Freedom. The time? 2380 A.D. His new "assignment"? The Federation Space Station Deep Space 13, on the edge of Romulan Space. Can Harry Potter survive this new century? And who is that red-headed girl in his dreams? (SPECIAL Note: This one comes with the first chapter, a detailed plot, and a list of main characters, subject to change at adoptee's will.)

Time After Time – Star Trek: TNG/Back to the Future – Summery: Since the Delorean's been destroyed, Marty's been having the time of his life. He married Jennifer and had the two children just like in the original timeline. But now, Doc Brown has shown up on his doorstop with astonishing news. The Star Trek universe is real and needs the two expert timetravelers of the 20th century to defeat an time-manipulating species that intends on eradicating life on earth before it ever began. They adapt the Enterprise-D with a flux capacator modified to activate at Warp 9.75. They end up chasing this species through different history periods, including Vulcan's turbulent past, witnessing the first Trill joining, and even seeing the original Kahless. They even jump into the future a few times, seeing the discovery of the Bajoran wormhole, and contacting Voyager in the Delta Quadrant. Will they capture the species in time or is Earth doomed? (Notes: You can thank Unrealistic of Yami-chan and Unrealistic for this plotbunny. Grrr. She mentions it in a review and my brain off and does this. (Sigh) This ends up having multiple crossovers, including DS9, Voyager, and maybe even TOS or Enterprise.)

UNTITLED – Star Trek: Deep Space Nine/L&C:NAoS – Summery: Q sends himself back to the 1990s, and head to Metropolis for a little fun. He finds Lois and Clark busy at work, and being the prankster he is, sends them to DS9 for a little “Relaxation Time”. Without H.G. Wells to help them, Lois and Clark have to find their own way back to their time.

UNTITLED – Doctor Who/Harry Potter – Summery: The Doctor and Rose land in the year 1995 in the Harry Potter universe. The TARDIS is unable to go due to a broken part and must be fixed before it can travel again. Unfortunately for the Doctor, someone thinks he's some escaped prisoner named Barty Crouch, Jr. Oh, dear. Now what? With the Doctor imprisoned under false charges, Rose has to enlist the help of three secretive teenagers to free the Doctor. (AN: This is actually a plotbunny courtesy of my sister. She wondered what would happen if the tenth Doctor, played by David Tennant, traveled to that world. Barty Crouch Jr. was also played by David Tennant.)

UNTITLED – Harry Potter/Lois&Clark (or any other, frankly) – Summery: Lois and Clark are sent to England toinvestigate the mysterious deaths plaguing the country. While there, they are drawn into a world neither knew existedas the war against Voldemort reaches a crescendo. (A/N: Post HBP, preseason 4 of L&C, flexible.)

UNTITLED – Doctor Who – Summary: We all know the Doctor and the Master were the last of the Time Lords. But what if there was another out there, the last of the Time Ladies? Jane Smith is a schoolteacher in 2010 Cardiff. Every night, she dreams of another world, burning. Around her are dead bodies that look human but aren't. Ever since she was a teenager, she has only dreamed of what her past could be. Until one day, she hears grinding and tracks it down. And comes face to face with the Doctor.

UNTITLED – Harry Potter – Summary: In the Battle of Hogwarts, Draco Malfoy is killed. But he is given the option of a second chance by Fate. Determined not to repeat his mistakes, an 11-year old Draco, with his memory intact, starts Hogwarts. (Challenge: Make it a believable DM/HG pairing)

UNTITLED – Doctor Who – Summary: While traveling with the Doctor, Rose awakens to find herself in the past, along with the Doctor. But he believes himself to be a human named John Smith and she his wife. Worse yet, “Smith” doesn’t believe anything she tells him about who they really are. Can Rose uncover the mastermind behind this sinister plot before she is locked away forever, believed to be insane? (Challenges for plotbunny: 1. Rose must be with the Doctor. (Mickey and/or Jack optional). 2. Must not echo Human Nature/Family of Blood. 3. Must have 10th Doctor, because this would end up 10/Rose. 4. Must take place in past, but not 1913 (see #2) 5. Rose must somehow keep her memory. 6. Through another way, the Doctor thinks himself human. (see #2))

UNTITLED – Harry Potter – Summary: Harry Potter sends Voldemort a birthday present as a gag. But he never expected Voldemort to become attached to it. The gift? A Tom-Tom! (Oneshot, if possible).

UNTITLED – Harry Potter – Summary: Harry is believed to have been killed by Voldemort in the Final Battle, when in reality, he was simply thrown back in time. He appears in 1977, unconscious and with amnesia to boot. And to top it all off, he is fancied by none other than Lily Evans!

UNTITLED – Unknown – Summary: Five teams are chosen to battle against the best in the universe. If they win, Earth survives. If not...Earth is wiped from existence. Who are these teams? Well, they are: Harry Potter and Hermione Granger, Danny Phantom and Sam Manson, Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable, Ben and Gwen Tennyson, and Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne. Their adversaries? Well, that's up to you!

Who is Jesus?

Welcome to the year 2007. Why not start out a fresh year with a fresh start to life with Jesus Christ?

So, the big question: Who is Jesus?

He is God’s only Son, yet He came from the throne of His Father to the womb of a woman. He became Son of Man that we might become children of God.

He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of a virgin. He lived in poverty, and was unknown outside the city of Nazareth. He had neither wealth nor influence.

He laid aside His purple robe for a peasant’s gown. He was rich, yet for our sakes He became poor. He was born in another’s stable; He rode on another’s donkey; He was buried in another’s grave.

History has never known such as Jesus. In infancy, He startled a king; as a boy He stunned the theologians with His knowledge and wisdom, for He was taught of God. In manhood, He ruled the elements and quieted the raging sea. He healed without medicine, and fed thousands from a boy’s lunch. Even demons obeyed Him, and He gave back life to those who were dead.

Yet He suffered and sustained in body and soul the anger of God against the sin of the whole human race. He was despised and rejected of men. Though he was innocent, He was condemned by a civil judge and sentenced to death on a cross.

By His suffering and death, He paid completely for the sins of all who believe and set us free from the certain judgment and eternal condemnation of God that was to fall on us.

Some have given their lives for others and great men have come and gone, yet He lives on. Herod could not kill Him. Satan could not stop Him. Death could not destroy Him. The grave could not hold Him. Having fully satisfied God’s perfect justice, He conquered death and rose on the third day as He said He would.

After showing Himself to His disciples, He ascended into heaven. He now sits at the right hand of the throne of God where He pleads our case to His Father, defends us and keeps us safe from all enemies and pours out His gifts upon His followers.

One day He will return not as a suffering servant but with power and glory to judge the world. Then every knee shall bow to Him and every tongue shall confess Him as Lord. His followers will confess His Name with joy and confidence, but His enemies in terror will seek to hide from His face.

He is the Perfect One, the only One who can satisfy the soul. By accepting the Son of God with a believing heart, God grants to us the perfect satisfaction, righteousness and holiness of Christ. To all who are ready to accept and believe Him, God gives these words of promise:

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3: 16

Please accept Christ into your life today. This prayer is a guidance, but if you need a little help, here it is. It doesn’t matter how much or how well you say it, all that matters is that you have a willing spirit.

“Heavenly Father, I confess that the only way I can be with you is through the atoning blood of your only Son, Jesus Christ. I now accept your free gift of everlasting life and put my trust in Christ’s complete payment for all my sins. In response to your love toward me, I now make the commitment to turn away from my sins and to begin a new life of love and obedience to you, with the help of your Holy Spirit.

“In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows AKA The End

J.K. Rowling has just released the title of Book 7. It will be Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It will also be released on July 21st, 2007, only two weeks off from the estimated date of 7/7/07.

It will be quite interesting to see how DH will pan out. The title itself may suggest the final battle takes place on All Hallows Eve, more commonly known as Halloween. JK made a suggestion in passing about that.

Dictionary (Dot) com has many definitions of the word "hallow," the best two below:

1. to make holy; sanctify; consecrate.
2. to honor as holy; consider sacred; venerate: to hallow a battlefield.

Perhaps the battle will take place near a church, resulting in a death, thus Deathly Hallows. We have already seen a duel take place in the cemetery where the Riddles were buried and Voldemort resurrected. It is not too far an opinion to say it will happen again.

Additionally, JK has given us a "Horcrux Hint." According to her site, she was dreaming and as she dreamt, she was both the narrator and Harry. She says she saw him searching somewhere for the Horcrux, when she knew good and well it was "hidden in a nook in the fireplace." Hm. What could it be? It must be small, to be hidden in a fireplace nook.

- The fact that Harry "has his mother's eyes" will prove to be an important plot point

I read back through the story and was slightly disappointed in myself. I thought I had given out more hints than just three, including chapter 22. Well, they were big hints, so I guess that’s a lot better than loads of subtle ones huh? Here they are, references from the other five books marked as well.

Chapter 2:

According to the Sorting Hat, Rowena was “Fair Ravenclaw, from glen.” (GoF, pg.176) A glen is another name for a valley. In this chapter, the place where the Shoemakers live is in a valley. Patty is not an ugly woman; actually she’s rather beautiful as she is based off the Patty Halliwell character from Charmed.

Chapter 11:

Patty’s wand is the key hint. Her wand is ebony with the feather of a raven as its core. It is about ten inches long and quite swishy. As the symbol of Ravenclaw, a raven’s feather would make the perfect core for a person with the bloodline of Ravenclaw.

Chapter 22:

In scenes where everyone was tense, Patty would usually quip something and when everyone was stumped on how to open the locket, Patty figured it out first. Rowena’s House was described as “Or yet in wise old Ravenclaw,/If you’ve a ready mind,/Where those of wit and learning,/Will always find their kind;” (SS, pg. 118) and “And only those of sharpest mind/Were taught by Ravenclaw” (OotP, pg. 205).

I hope you enjoyed putting the pieces together. Back when this story was first invented, I had no idea of what would be happening next. When Patty was created, I had no goal in mind for her, other than to not become a “Mary-Sue.” I poured a little of my personality into her, and gave her the necessary looks. One of my best friends, Victoria, tends to figure out the homework faster than I do, and the other, Kacey, loves to garden when she can. The only thing I really contributed was the wit and that does tend to get me in trouble sometimes; other times, it saves my rear.

"Bad Day" cause sometimes that's how I feel, and "Unwritten" because to me as a writer, it compares life to writing a book.

Who is R.A.B.?

Well, I'm back. Instead of creating a forum thread at fanfiction.net, I've decided just to post my discussions here. So here's the first of many.

This blog's topic: Who is the elusive R.A.B? J.K. has already hinted that he (or she, some think) is a previously mentioned character. However, the most obvious choice has, of course, been Sirius's brother, Regulus Black. According to Sirius, "From what I found out after he (Regulus) died, he got in so far, then panicked about what he was being asked to do and tried to back out. Well, you don't just hand in your resignation to Voldemort. It's a lifetime of service or death." (Order of the Phoenix, pg. 112). Regulus was killed on Voldemort's orders due to Regulus's trying to back out. Or so Sirius thought.

The following is the note left in the fake Horcrux:

To the Dark Lord
I know I will be dead long before you read this
but I want you to know that it was I who discovered your secret.
I have stolen the real Horcrux and intend to destroy it as soon as I can.
I face death in the hope that when you meet your match,
you will be mortal once more.
R.A.B.
(Half-Blood Prince, pg. 609)

Only Death Eaters call Voldemort the "Dark Lord", therefore implying that R.A.B. was certainly a Death Eater at one time. Also it makes mention that R.A.B. was facing death, hinting that he knew Voldemort would soon be sending one of his men to kill him.

So where is the real Slytherin locket? The answer may be right in front of us. On page 116 of Order of the Phoenix, it made mention of "a heavy locket that none of them could open." Slytherin's locket, on page 207 of Half-Blood Prince is described as "a heavy gold locket." Is it possible that these two lockets are one and the same? But the only problem is that on pgs. 116 and 117 of Order of the Phoenix, Sirius is throwing away stuff that he doesn't want to keep. Did he accidentally throw that locket in the bag as well? As he has been pronounced dead, we will never know.

So in conclusion, where does that leave us? We are waiting on Book 7, which will (supposedly) tie up the loose ends of the other books. So we wait, eagerly anticipating its arrival. In the meantime, theories abound at fanfiction.net, some of them within reason, others just plain crazy. Until then, we can only theorize and see what will happen when it happens.

As most of y'all know, my penname is PotterPhan21. I am a female, so y'all don't need to fuss over that. For all of those out there who happened across my blog, read at your own risk. This is my official home page, so if you just want to rant at me, do so here. I'll be posting random things here and there. This website's more like my online collection of stuff than anything else. A full profile is available at my fanfiction(dot)net address, as well as my stories. I might post future pieces in here; I might put preview stuff up. Frankly I don't know.

I don't do cussing, I don't do slash stories, and I most certainly don't read anything above a PG-13 level. If you have an R-rated story you want reviewed, go somewhere else. I won't do it.

If you find my style offensive, then I'm just doing my job. I have been a Christian for 10 years, and the Bible says that if I offend you by telling you about Christ, then I'm just doing my job. I'll probably put a tract up here later. This is just my beginning.
